SDC April 2026 - Interior design cabin guide Sign-up open now! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1290432062 Hello campers!! This is a cabin guide to answer your possible questions about how SDC works in general and Interior design cabin specifically (this session). You're welcome to read this whether you're in my cabin or not, and if you still have some questions after that you can feel free to ask them! Basics about SDC: 1. What is SDC? SDC (Scratch Design Camp) is a triannual virtual camp which runs in April, August and December, right here on Scratch! This camp is for people who enjoy designing, no matter if you are skilled in it or not. During the session there are fun designing activities, friendly competition between the cabins and a chance to get better at designing! 2. SDC Activities The main camp activities are dailies and weeklies - you can find them in the Main Cabin studio description. Dailies are daily designing prompts, and Weeklies are a bit more complicated tasks that you can do during the week (tip: don't rush them in one day, spread doing it over the week!). There are also some more camp activities that will be revealed and explained throughout the session - look out for them in the Main Cabin! And finally, there are activities specifically for Interior design cabin - they will be revealed in the Interior cabin during the session. Important: they won't get you points for doing them, but it's a fun way to design more and save more minutes spent on designing. 3. Point adding After doing a weekly, daily or another camp activities, you can claim points for your cabin in the Main Cabin. Go to the Main Cabin studio comments and say how many points, for what activity, for which cabin you claim them and give proof (link) if needed. 4. Minute adding All the minutes you spent on designing during April can (and should) be added to your cabin's Minute Count studio (or project). Go to your cabin's Minute Count and comment how many minutes you add and for what exactly you spent them. Add minutes regularly during the session - in the end they will get points that will help your cabin win. By the way, the Minute Count normally contains a small explanation how to add minutes, so check it out. The Old Hills: Interior design cabin information (cabin-specific): 6.
