I turned around and Tasha was gone. Probably ran out of the door with the rest of them. I collected my stuff and walked out too. I passed by the lunch hall where Tasha and I first met. It felt so long ago, now on my way out, I glanced at those same seats I could almost hear the exited chatter of school children wating for their soup. I turned around, the atmosphere of lunch disappearing too quickly. As soon as I reached the gate, I noticed Tasha loitering with a group of friends. A sweep of envy rushed over me as she had made friends so easily. All the friends I had made was Tasha and I’m pretty sure I had made an enemy too. She glanced at me and noticing my look of annoyance she quickly excused herself from the tittering girls and made her way towards me. “You alright?” she asked. “Oh yeah I’m fine!” suddenly regretting my thoughts “You up for boba?”
