The Goose Girl is about a princess who is betrayed by her maid during a journey to meet her future husband. the maid forces her to switch places with her, leaving the real princess to live as a simple goose girl while the maid pretends to be royalty. eventually the truth is revealed and the princess regains her rightful place and crown the reason i chose a silver and pink theme for this banner is to represent both her hidden identity and her true royal nature. the silver reflects the silver locks of her hair and the modesty she carries even while disguised. the crown symbolizes the royalty that was taken from her but later restored, while the hints of gold represent the riches and status tied to her real life as a princess. the pink represents her pink gown,showing her soft, royalty and reminding us of the princess she truly is beneath the disguise.
