This is an example of natural selection, the black dots are food, and the blobs of red and blue are examples of creatures. the days are 5 seconds each. If a creature takes home 1 piece of food, they will survive the night, if they take home none, they will die, if they take home 2, they will survive AND reproduce, making a copy of themselves. Each time a red creature reproduces, there is a 20% chance they make a blue "fast creature" these creatures have all the same details as the others, except they are faster, and get to their food more quickly, therefore they are better than the red creatures, and if you watch, they will eventually out number, and overtake all the red creatures. press play to start the simulation!
