A long time ago, in the faraway land of Alagaësia, there was an election held of which of the King Eragon’s sons was to be the new ruler of Alagaësia. Prince Wally, with his eloquent speech, and charismatic looks, won by a landslide. After this, he became king of the land, and the first law he put into place was that everyone had to call him Wally the Great, even his parents, aunts/uncles, and grandparents (if they were still alive). Wally the Great was a very arrogant ruler, often making laws that only he benefited from, like making slaves of whomever he disliked, or whoever thought/spoke badly of him/even his brothers that opposed him in his election. Wally made such harsh punishments to whoever even spoke badly of him, even with the faintest whisper, that everyone followed his unjust laws. When Wally had children, he taught them how to rule Alagaësia even crueler than he ruled it. Wally even abolished the voting system, so only he could choose his heir. People were outraged by this, but didn’t speak up because they feared his cruel punishments. Soon, Wally appointed his new heir, Eghart the Great, to be his heir. But since Eghart was really clumsy, he fell down his castle stairs and suffered a grave injury to both his legs. Since he was injured, he couldn’t use force to make his doctors heal him with their science, or his mages to heal him with magic, the army overthrew him and appointed a new leader to govern the land of Alagaësia, making the land peaceful again, like the time of King Eragon.
