I go by Wind or Windy, and I use any/all pronouns. I enjoy roleplaying, writing, reading, and running. Some of my favorite fandoms include WC (for spinoffs or roleplaying), WoF, and Marvel. ╰▹ Roleplay Experience: I have been roleplaying for several years both on and off-sight, through a variety of different fandoms (including original ones). I have been a member of TSS since July 2025, when I won my first character, Cocoonkit, from a litter. ╰▹ Applying for: Tricksterkit my beloved! I feel called to him. His design is so beautiful! I can't pass up the opportunity to apply for him when he's so cool and in such an interesting family, and I figured it might be time to take on another TSS character (don't worry, Cocoon will be fine- yay for 2-character limit!) ╰▹ Longevity: I intend to keep Trickster for a hard minimum of 50 moons, although I expect it will end up being more like 75-100 moons. ❝ I'm a good pretender, I'm not really cool ❞ ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ❊ Identity ❊ ┈─┈─┈─┈╮ ╰▹ Gender: Genderfluid (masc-leaning) ╰▹ Pronouns: He/she/they/it/neos (fluctuates) ╰▹ Pronouns?: Always they, usually he/neos, rarely she/it For most of his kit- and apprenticehood, Tri won't think much about his gender. By late apprenticehood, however, the dysphoria begins. He will pin it to family tension, pressure over becoming a warrior, or himself being ridiculous. He will push away the occasional feminine and nonbinary feelings as weakness, and be relieved when he returns to feeling male again. This battle will continue for a long time. Starting around his 20s, he will get more confident and assured with himself, and will gradually accept that it's ok for him to sometimes feel different- perhaps even embracing that part of themself to challenge the status quo of what they're seen as. By his 30s, he'll be fully accepting of his gender and flourishing in that sense. ╰▹ Sexuality: Pansexual, Demiromantic Romance will be the least of Tri's concerns for the beginning of his life. He may have a few fleeting crushes or relationships in apprenticeship and early warriorhood, but most of it is for show, or a bit of escapism from difficult family life. He won't discriminate or have preferences between genders, and will much later learn this is due to their pansexuality. Although they may plot or work to get themselves relationships while youthful, true feelings only develop with those they know and have come to trust or like, which has the potential to complicate friendships. ❝ I'm insecure, I think I lack what I'm supposed to ❞ ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ❊ Personality ❊ ┈─┈─┈─┈╮ ╰▹ Simple Personality: [+] Clever, Creative, Focused, Observant, Playful [=] Ambitious, Chatty, Methodical, Mischievous, Reserved [-] Arrogant, Apathetic, Cynical, Judgmental, Selfish ┊ ╰▹ Detailed Personality: Tricksterkit certainly lives up to his name. Especially as a kit, he will always be looking for a way to make a good prank or a joke. They are very creative with coming up with new ideas, strategies, or plans- most of which are used to create games (as a kit) or further elaborate pranks, and they will love to play with other kits or have a good fun time. As they grow, this habit will remain, although without much regard for the feelings of the intended targets of the pranks. Tri seems to hold little regard for the feelings of everyone, choosing to focus almost solely on their own concerns and well-being. If given the choice to help another or himself, he will always place himself first, unless it is guaranteed to gain high praise from others. Tri is highly critical of others, and isn't afraid to critique their skills and boast his own virtues. He tends to see the worst in everyone and always believes that is the side that will show. He is very self-assured in his own worth, and believes they are well superior to most other cats. Trick is very ambitious and motivated towards his goals, desperate to prove himself as perfect. When completing a task or plan, they do it carefully and methodically, ensuring every step is perfect- which sometimes lengthens the task more than is strictly necessary. Once a plan or activity is started, Tri will refuse to give up until the task is completed to perfection. He is quite clever, making him a very fast learner and able to ascertain information from context clues. He is quite observant to the small details, motions, and expressions of everything and everyone around him, so he will certainly notice others' emotions even if he ends up not caring about them. He tends to be quite talkative, and will often ramble when nervous, meeting someone new, describing themself, or in trouble. Despite this seemingly social skill, they are in actuality quite reserved, and will never willingly give up information about themselves or that is useful to a common cat.
❝ I got lots of problems, well good thing nobody knows ❞ ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ❊ Research ❊ ┈─┈─┈─┈╮ ╰▹ Narcissistic Personality Disorder A part of the "B Cluster", narcissistic personality disorder involves difficulty regulating self esteem, resulting in a need for praise and a tendency to devalue others to maintain a sense of superiority. People with this disorder often overestimate or exaggerate abilities and achievements, and will shun people deemed ordinary or below them in favor of being around the people seen as special and talented as themselves. They are obsessed with fantasies of their great achievements and abilities, and desperately seek praise from the special people or groups they seek. Criticism is generally not taken well, and may be retaliated against with rage or resignation. People with this disorder must have a pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and lack of empathy. They may also have a sense of entitlement, belief in their uniqueness, desire to only interact with other special people, exploitation of others for their goals, lack of empathy, envy of others, belief in being envied by others, or arrogance. Its causes are thought to be hereditary, or gaining too much or too little affection from parental figures. ┊ ╰▹ Why: I decided to give Tricksterkit NPD because it makes sense with the parental relationship going on, and it explains/shapes many of Tri’s interactions with others. ╰▹ Effects: Tri's NPD is rooted in the behavior of Veer. He will strive for attention. He believes he is of the highest caliber of cats due to being the deputy's son and his own importance. He will often belittle the feelings of others by thinking they are unworthy, unimportant, and common. They will always strive to please Veer and will do anything to gain attention from the highest ranked members of the Clan. When faced with criticism, they will either lash out with rage, offer hurtful comments, or pretend to deflect it by stating they are superior and the other is only jealous. Criticism from Veer or any well-valued cats will be taken very poorly, and Tri will be reminded of their lack of self-worth. For fear of failure and criticism, he will work to avoid high-risk situations of trying new things where he may fail. They will envy anyone who is beautiful or the center of attention, while somehow believing they are always in control as part of the "elite" of the Clan, and one of the most important. He will be rather self-serving, and have no reservations for manipulating others to elevate his status or achievements. ╰▹ Appearance: Symptoms will become must apparent during apprenticehood and grow to a peak in early warriorhood. ╰▹ Resolution: As Tri grows older and hopefully becomes surrounded by more positive figures, they will eventually learn to regulate their symptoms and become more self aware. In time, they will learn to start suppressing some of the thoughts that lead to these behaviors, and be more present and helpful for those he cares about. He'll never be 'perfect'. But he'll be enough, and he'll be ok with that. ❝ I'm a good pretender, all emotions in sync ❞ ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ❊ Roleplay Example ❊ ┈─┈─┈─┈╮ ╰▹Tricksterkit majestically scaled a rock near the edge of camp, reaching the top and gazing proudly out over his kingdom. Here he was, at the top, it seemed- where he belonged. From up here, he could look out over his glorious domain, appropriately looking down upon all of the common cats. He thought he saw one of his siblings, maybe Raggedkit, near the nursery's edge. He grinned to himself, mind racing with ideas for a new game. Maybe she could be an invading cat, or... ooh, maybe he could play a prank on her! It would be really funny if he could convince her to do something like put thorns in a warrior's nest, or run out of camp to see what happened. But, that would come later. Right now, he needed to prepare for his upcoming apprentice ceremony. He could see it already, in all of its perfection. How everyone would smile at his glory. How they would finally see how perfect and amazing it was. And how he would finally be acknowledged as /worth it./ ❝ I'm just like you, do you like me too? ❞ ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ❊ Additional ❊ ┈─┈─┈─┈╮ ╰▹ Due to NPD and desire to please, it will be incredibly easy for Veer to manipulate, steer, or control Tri ╰▹ I would love to do a series of character arcs: maybe coming of age, borderline villain arc (at least nefarious), and either actual villain arc or- most likely- a redemption arc ╰▹ Nicknames: Trickster, Trick, Tri, Prince, Princex ╰▹ Favorite color: Pale lilac (similar to fur color) ╰▹ Favorite animal: Goat ❝ Now I'm just like you, I'm a good pretender ❞ ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ❊ Credits ❊ ┈─┈─┈─┈╮ ╰▹ Tricksterkit design : @_WeaselKabob- ╰▹ Litter : @AugustAnimation ╰▹ Art (TN) + Application : @windrider_PI ╰▹ Music + Lyrics : "Pretender" by Steve Aoki ╰▹ Roleplay : @tss-roleplay , @SilverFeatherPro101 , @Shy_Pj, @kretlep ┈─┈─┈┈─┈─┈─┈ ─ ❊ ⋆ ༘∘ .┈─┈─┈┈─┈─┈─┈
