Catch the latest buzz on RLY SPOP! Let's start yall^^ ⚠️ Opinions are being expressed! Please don't take anything to heart, if you don't like opinions. Please Leave. Trainees have been here for quite a bit in SPOP history. Recently, SPOP companies have started shifting from traditional trainee systems... (1)There are different types of trainees. 1. SVS (Survival Show) trainees/ contestants These trainees are recruited by audition and are usually competing for a spot in a group. They are ranked, and are put up against other contestants. This is drastically different from group trainees, because their voices are constantly compared to others. Many SVS contestants improve rapidly because they face elimination each round. 2. Group Trainees/Pre-debut trainees This system is when a Company takes in people for an SPOP Group or groups. They rate each person individually, and helps them grow in their own strengths, then are placed in a group and debut. This training happens before debut, this can test run how the person would do in a group and whether they can meet deadlines, put in work and time to improve their voice and etc. (2) My experience. I have been in both situations, the company side and the trainee side. - As a Trainee, it was frustrating when other people in the group wouldn't hand in lines on time. Also as a CEO & Manager I know that when this happens, group members tend to get less hyped about the debut and this gives them less motivation to keep going. (3) The Problem. The problem with Training and Trainees is that groups tend to crumble and barely get past their 1st task without people missing deadlines, going on hiatus suddenly, or the company just shutting down. Why does this happen? Well it depends on the situation really. It could be lack of discipline, or time management. Possibly there could be a new trainee, who doesn't understand the commitment they're taking. It could also be the company not giving enough time to the trainees. Or it could just be simple burnout, we're only kids who have lives out of the internet after all. (4) The Impact. The thing that I'm trying to say is that. Finally companies are not really doing trainings anymore, and are just debuting voices that are already solid. This system is just better for the company, because it has faster production, less risk because they have debut ready talent. Even though this is great! It's not exactly great for trainees because this makes it harder to enter the industry, and gives them less opportunities to grow. (5) Conclusion - Possible Solutions. This change in SPOP training is Useful but limiting. Even though debuting well-polished vocalists and rappers ensures having a strong group. This basically closes the door for trainees who need time to improve their voices. In the future, this could make SPOP less diverse and less welcoming to new talent. If companies basically end training systems. The industry could become too competitive, only experienced singers succeed, and to take it to the extreme creativity might decrease. To prevent this Companies could have shorter training programs, trial projects pre-debut, and mentorship instead of long trainee systems. SPOP's future depends on whether growth still matters as much as "perfection". QnA: Is raw talent worth the risk, or is polished skill the new standard? Well that was a big one T0T,this took like 2 days. Thanks for reading this article! Until next time! See yall later ^^ ✎ᝰ Ichi Eunhye
