1. The Blizzard (The Zero-Visibility Storm) Description: A violent windstorm that picks up loose snow, turning the air into a wall of white. Visibility drops to nothing. Danger: Disorientation. A Veylren can walk right off a cliff or into a predator's den without seeing it. Survival Protocol: Halt: Do not move. Flying is impossible; walking is fatal. Tether: Tie everyone together with rope. Shelter: Dig a snow cave immediately. Wait it out. 2. The Sudden Frost (The Clear Sky Hazard) Description: When the clouds vanish at night, the heat escapes rapidly. Temperatures can fall 40 degrees in minutes. Danger: Hypothermia and frostbite. The clear sky is deceptive; it is often colder than a cloudy night. Survival Protocol: Maximize insulation. Sleep in a cluster (The 'Veylren Heap') to share body heat. Keep a fire burning all night (requires a fire-watch shift). 3. The Northern Lights (The Sky Lights) Description: Beautiful ribbons of green, purple, and blue light in the night sky. Effect: While beautiful, a strong Aurora indicates high solar activity. Magical Interference: Intense Auroras can disrupt the Quantum Brain. Veylren with high Aurora stats may feel "tingling" or pain. Veylren with low Willpower may experience strange visions or "Logic Loops." Survival Protocol: Enjoy the view, but do not look directly at it for too long if you feel your mind drifting. 4. The Spring Melt (Seasonal) Description: The ice over the ocean begins to fracture and shift. Danger: The shoreline becomes unstable. Ice floes can tip without warning, dropping the group into freezing water. Survival Protocol: Travel with Long Sticks to test ice thickness. Stay away from the dark blue ice.
