I immediately thought of this after stumbling on the Andersen Theater. I'm pretty sure it's because of the "similar music notes" or energy factor. Yeah, it's not really a very fantastic composition, nor idea, and who would ever think this is a good combination? The Andersen Theater, despite ending in 2009, would hit its 30th anniversary next July. And since DKC is one of the most recognizable games, I basically picked this out of nowhere and made this.
This was supposed to be for the SDS Retro, but I was too late. Nevertheless, I decided to share it if "arcade" compositions weren't enough. Also, yes, I could've used Nintendo sound hardware, but I was kinda lazy. Credits: Nintendo & Rare (Donkey Kong Country, 1994) Mushi Production (Andersen Theater, 1997) Namco, Taito, Capcom, etc. (sources for multiple YM2151 sound rips) Music made back at the beginning of March, with the art few days after. The project was recently made since it's just porting the art and music here. Hesitation is from "what have I done? What is this thing I made?". Yeah, it was a tough decision to even make something like this. Each character sprite in the art has 15 colors regarding limitations in hardware.
