One tends to wonder why such a rodent like chestaphone would be considered a pest and yet it's predescessor, the trat, is not. Well that would be because trat dosen't really bother the other monsters that often, usually staying in it's armored shell, unless wants some cheese of course. Chestaphone on the other hand is considered a pest because of how bothersome it is to the other monsters, pulling pranks, creating annoying or misleading noises with it's special telephone like ears, and other acts that make them a general nuisance. Chestaphones are said to be descended from another rodent that used to live in the evergreen forest, the single elemental of wood to be exact. From the mutation however, the monster became infused with a telephone and an nefarious attitude, and so, chestaphone was born.
