1. The Glacial Ursine (Ice Bear) Description: A massive, white bear, standing 15 feet tall on hind legs. Threat Level: 10/10. Apex Predator. Behavior: Territorial and aggressive. It does not hunt you because it is hungry; it hunts you because you are in its way. Avoidance: Avoid open ice fields. Travel near ridges where you can take cover. Do not cook strong-smelling meat in the open. Defense: Fire and loud noises might scare it. Spears only anger it. Run or Fly. 2. The Snow-Leopard (The Ghost) Description: Large, spotted cats with fur that blends perfectly into the rock and snow. Threat Level: 8/10. Behavior: Ambush predator. They drop from cliffs or ridge-lines. They target stragglers or isolated scouts. Avoidance: Never travel alone. Scouts should fly high, not walk the ridge-lines. Defense: They are cowardly. Fight back hard, and they may retreat. If they ambush you, they go for the neck (Neck Bite). 3. The Shard-Beak Roc Description: Giant birds of prey with bone-white beaks. Wingspan of 30 feet. Threat Level: 7/10. Behavior: They patrol the skies. They will swoop down to snatch up smaller Veylren or those flying alone. Avoidance: Do not fly alone. Stay close to cover (trees/rocks) when moving. Defense: Archers or thrown spears. Aim for the wings. If grabbed, fight the eyes. 4. The Ice-Scratcher Pack Description: Coyote-like scavengers with patchy fur. Threat Level: 4/10 (Individually) / 9/10 (In a Pack). Behavior: They are cowards. They will circle the camp at night, waiting for someone to fall asleep or wander off to relieve themselves. Avoidance: Keep a night watch. Maintain a perimeter. Defense: They fear fire and loud noises. A few well-thrown stones usually sends them running, but they will return. 5. The Frost-Wurm (Legendary/Rare) Description: A snake-like creature that "swims" through the snow as if it were water. Threat Level: 10/10. Behavior: It senses vibrations through the ground. Avoidance: Do not march in rhythm. Walk lightly. Defense: Explosives or massive trauma. Conventional weapons are nearly useless against its scales.
