1. The Outcast (Filled by Ren) Status: Viewed with suspicion or disdain. Must work harder to prove their worth. Effect: Other players may ignore or avoid this character initially. 2. The Follower Status: A passive member who simply goes with the flow. They do not lead; they support. Effect: Lower responsibility, but less influence on decisions. 3. The Idealist Status: Refuses to give up hope. Tries to keep morale high despite the horror. Effect: Can prevent mental breaks (Logic Locks) in other players through encouragement. 4. The Defector Description: You were not part of the rebellion. You were a loyal Imperial citizen or low-level soldier who got caught in the chaos. Dynamic: The group does not trust you. They suspect you are a spy. You have to work twice as hard to prove you are on their side. Roleplay Hook: Defending the Empire’s logic or having inside knowledge of how the Queen’s army operates. 5. The Aristocrat Description: You were once wealthy or high-ranking (openly). You are not used to manual labor, cold, or hunger. Dynamic: You might be resented by the "workers." You have fine manners but zero survival skills. You are a "burden" socially, but perhaps you know secrets about the Empire's politics. Roleplay Hook: Complaining about the food/conditions, or surprisingly knowing how to read ancient maps. 6. The Convict Description: You were in the camps, not for rebellion, but for serious crimes (theft, assault, etc.). The rebellion just opened your cell. Dynamic: You are dangerous. People sleep with one eye open around you. You are likely selfish and looking out for number one. Roleplay Hook: Threatening others, hoarding hidden supplies, or being the one willing to do the "ugly" work others refuse to do. 7. The Veteran Description: You are old (500+ years). You have seen wars before this. Your body might be slower, but your mind is a library of tactics. Dynamic: You are respected, but you might be seen as "out of touch" by the younger Veylren. You challenge the Leader's authority if you think they are making a rookie mistake. Roleplay Hook: Telling war stories, predicting the weather, acting as a grumpy grandparent to the group. 8. The Innocent Description: You are young (under 100 years) or have lived a very sheltered life. You have never seen violence or war before the crash. Dynamic: You are the "moral compass" but also a liability. The group feels the need to protect you, which drains resources. You remind them what they are fighting for. Roleplay Hook: Panicking at danger, asking "why," keeping hope alive. 9. The Cynic Description: You believe the group is doomed. The rebellion was a mistake, the Empire is too strong, and the North is a graveyard. Dynamic: You lower morale but provide a "reality check." You are the voice of pessimism. You clash with the Idealist. Roleplay Hook: Constantly questioning the plan, predicting failure, refusing to take risks. 10. The Zealot Description: You believed in the rebellion with extreme passion. You oppose the Queen with an intensity that borders on madness. Dynamic: You are intense and possibly unstable. You might want to attack Imperial targets even when it is dangerous. You scare the group. Roleplay Hook: Preaching about the cause, volunteering for dangerous missions, disliking the "Defector." 11. The Injured Description: You were hurt in the crash or have a chronic illness. You cannot walk or fly well without help. Dynamic: You are an immediate resource drain. The group has to carry you or make special arrangements. You might have high Intelligence to compensate for low Constitution. Roleplay Hook: Being the "load," providing intellectual guidance from the sled or sickbed.
