I love this guy to pieces erm I changed his markings slightly just because I needed them to be easier to animate. fun fact I have had this OC Sapphire for a LOOONG time. I think 4ish years now? And i knew I wanted to use her for exactly this story, and make an amv to exactly this song. But I never managed to create or find a character who fit the role of her 'guardian angel' as well as this guy does. He is SO perfect and I love him. I really hope I win him because if I do I can finally expand on this story more. Erm anyways just a general sumarised story because writing out the whole thing will take forever BIOS: Name: Enkeli Species: Angel Gender: None Pronouns: he/him Age: ?? Enkeli LOVES any songs that are supposed to be lullabyes but sound daunting or scary. Or just like. Generally too calm? Songs with the same vibes as: Lullably of Woe (By Ashley Serena), Sleepsong(By Secret Garden), The Nowhere King (From Centaurworld), Mother's song (from Wolf Children) or Amhran Na Farraige (From Song Of The Sea) Name: Sapphire Species: Cat Gender: Female Pronouns: she/her Age: around 6 when Enkeli is assigned to her Sapphire likes the same kind of music as Enkeli. Though in her teens she got SUPER into emo indie music, for example: Prom Queen (by Beach bunny), Hey Little Girl (by Sophiemarie.b), Numb Little Bug (by Em Beihold), and pretty much anything by Baby Bugs STORY: Enkeli is a guardian angel. Well, kinda. When he died, he was assigned to become a guardian angel. See, he had been good in his life, but he was deemed to have not done enough good for others to become a full angel. And so, he was made into a guardian angel. He was told that once he saved enough souls, he would be able to ascend into a complete angel. He was never told how many souls was enough. At first, he was fine with this. He actually thought it would be kind of fun poking into other people's lives. He wasn't too chuffed about the whole having to save them thing, but whatever. However, after hundreds of years went by, he started to grow very frustrated. He never said anything, because I mean what was he supposed to do, argue with god? But he for sure wasn't happy about it anymore. Most of the people he was sent to guard were, in his oppinion, unworthy of being guarded. He could see how their every pain was caused by their own actions, and felt no satisfaction in saving them from their own doings. But it was his job, so he did it. One day, he was assigned to a young girl called Sapphire. He was immediately annoyed at this assignment. Again, he didn't say anything, but... Royalty? Really? What was he going to save her from? Her daddy buying her the wrong colour dolly? Her bed not having enough pillows? He grumbled to himself, but did as he was told. He went to meet Sapphire, but was surprised to be transported to a graveyard in the dead of night. What was a young royal doing here? He then saw Sapphire- a beautiful young cat with a coat as white as snow, dressed up in sequins and lace like a doll. She was sat by a grave, crying. Enkeli rolled his eyes. Sure, he could have felt sympathy for her, but he had seen many grieving people in his time. At least she had a royal family and a warm bed to snuggle up in when she was done crying. However, as the days went on, and Enkeli watched Sapphire, he realised he had critically misgudged her situation. Yes, her family was rich. But this girl had far from everything. Within the span of a week, Enkeli had already had to save Sapphire from her own father twice. He was a violent man, intent on Sapphire being 'perfect' constantly. Enkeli also learned that the grave Sapphire had been sat by was her mother's. Her father, King Jasper, had ended the life of his own wife in a fit of rage one night. Enkeli couldn't help but feel a deep urge to protect this girl. Erm thats the general gist of the story i kinda go on tangents while writing whoupsie general summary Enkeli is Sapphire's guardian angel. Also Sapphire cannot see Enkeli. Until later when he realises how desperately she needs friendship so he reveals himself to her and gives her the companionship she needs. Sapphire ends up teaching Enkeli enough about self sacrifice and love that he is able to ascend to a true angel!! Yay!!!! Sapphire and Enkeli have a very father/daughter relationship and Enkeli is actually heartbroken when he ascends because it means he can't be with Sapphire anymore, but it's ok when she dies she also becomes an angel because she is actually the sweetest soul ever and her real father gets sent straight down bellow There is a LOT more to these two's relationship and story and lowkey I might write it all up properly if I win him but if I do that now I will get even more attatched to him than I already am now which will result in me crying if I lose him which I do not want to do
