Idea Dump: Crag in the ground/back wall to roof Stalactites + stalagmites 1 large rock was split in 2.. overtime wore down to three (third is smaller) Crystals in general (in rock? Maybe) Starflowers? Small streams? (dividing up some places?) Entrance looks like teeth/a skull Detailed Description: You walk through the dreary jaws of a cavern, but are welcomed by a cool breeze and the faint whistle of the gaps which it blows through. A large boulder presents itself before you and stands proudly as the shards and shatters stand apart, as if desperately clawed apart through time. A crack in the roof leaves beams of moonlight filtering through and bouncing off the crystals on the wall ti illuminate the space. The only signs of light are the glowing bits of lichee hanging from the crag in the ceiling and the starflowers sprung up at the base of the boulder. It seems that over time various feathers, dead grass, and dried moss had been brought in and scattered about small elevated rocks atop which clan cats sat. Lore: Whoop the lore of this place! Basically, before the gathering place was discovered and it was just Mossclan, the cavern had been sealed in the ceiling and there was only one boulder. Not a long time after Flurryclan branched off, a minor earthquake passed and ruptured the cave, leaving the crack in the ceiling, revealing shinier crystals and minerals (in small bulk) in the wall, and splitting the rock in two as if it was the will of Starclan for a leader to sit atop each half. Starflowers began to blossom because of the sunlight now able to enter. The cavern enterance is eerie but once passing the stalactites and stalagmites it is quite welcoming and cool. Water dripping from the roof caused these sensations over time. After Urchinclan created, the rock was not three pieces. How you may ask? Well, over the course of the cavern developing, a train of water eroded at the rock, even after it broke initially. This newer piece broke off with a small gap and is quite smaller compared to the other parts. The size of the rock shards from largest to smallest are Mossclan, Flurryclan, and Urchinclan. Water pooled at the base of this boulder and any Starclan were at the base of Urchinclan’s rock were drowned out and killed. It’s almost as if Starclan (or the Dark Forest for all we know) did will this chain of events. Cats would bring in feathers and grass to make the gathering more comfortable but it is often blown away and scattered by the draftiness in the cavern between gatherings, resulting in cats mostly giving up on adding this touch of comfort.
