I love writing and RPing, even though I’m decently new in the scratch RP community, only having joined about 4 months ago. However, I’ve become quite active, mainly in gens but also in TFCRP. My current gens character, Melodydawn, has lived for around four months now and has quite a bit of lore. I enjoy getting characters from litters and giving them chaotic lives full of lore. Outside of RPing, I enjoy writing and hope to publish a novel (or more!) one day. I enjoy drawing, though my style constantly fluctuates and is never very neat. I tend to have hyperfixtations, getting stuck on one topic or another for a long period of time before moving on. I currently have 4 characters: Melodydawn of Fc in gens, Carnation the loner in TFCRP, and Shatteredsoul and Gracewing in FIF (a RP of my creation). If I were to win Laceleaf, she would be my 5th character. ✦ Why Laceleaf? Ever since I received Carnation, I’ve wanted to RP a clan cat in TFCRP. When I saw this litter, I loved the lore and decided I wanted to be a part of it. While laceleaf doesn’t have a completed design yet, I loved the unique sounding name and the sketch I saw. If I were to receive her, I hope to give her a long, lore-filled life. My goal is to keep a character for an entire year- though we’ll see how that goes. In the very least, I’d like to keep her until 50-ish moons old, hopefully longer. ✦ Identity & Orientation Gender Identity: Cis-female (She/Her): She may eventually lean toward Demigirl, though I tend to decide things like that through RP. Romantic & Sexual Orientation: Pansexual & Panromantic: She is attracted to the "essence" and "strategic value" of a cat regardless of gender. To the average WindClan warrior, Laceleaf is a loyal, soft-spoken, and remarkably graceful young she-cat. She carries herself with a delicate precision, as if she were made of the very lace her name suggests. She is the first to bow her head in prayer to StarClan and the last to complain about a cold nest. By intentionally playing the "lesser cat," she ensures that no one ever sees her as a rival. She is the quiet shadow in the corner, the helpful kit who always has a kind, if somewhat shy, word for the elders. Beneath the braids and the "innocent" wide-eyed stares lies a mind of pure structure and calculation. Laceleaf doesn’t just live life; she manages it. She views her day as a series of boxes to be checked and others as pieces to be moved. She is highly organized, often mentally mapping out the Clan’s patrols and hunting habits to find the "gaps" where she can operate unseen. Her devotion to StarClan isn't just about faith—it’s about influence. She understands that a cat who is seen as "holy" is a cat who is beyond suspicion. She is secretive and opportunistic, rarely doing anything without a "Plan B" in place. If she helps a sibling, it is rarely out of pure kindness; it is because she is "depositing" a favor she intends to collect later. She uses her perceived fragility as a tool, knowing that most cats will underestimate her because she looks like a "pretty flower." In reality, she is the thorn that stays hidden until the exact moment it needs to sting. ✦ Family Dynamics I am not the sort of RP-er who likes to pre-plan. Instead, I like to find lore and ideas through RP. I hope to be able to RP and talk OORP with Laceleaf’s family during the first moons of her life to figure out her dynamics with each sibling. ✦ Trivia -Laceleaf has a sharp internal clock, always noticing when things aren't quite on time. It can drive her crazy! -As she does her braids every morning, she organizes her thoughts and feelings. If they aren’t perfectly done, she feels messy inside. As a result, she always, always spends quite a while making sure they are perfect. -Laceleaf’s love language is time. In her eyes, time is precious and should not be wasted, so she always feels amazing when somecat gives some time to her. - She is obsessed with cleanliness. If she gets mud on her white fur or if her flower accessory smells like "old rot," she feels like her plans are literally decaying. She might spend an extra 10 minutes grooming just to "reset" her mental state before a big conversation. - On clear nights, she doesn't just look at the stars; she tries to "map" them. She believes that stars are laid out as Starclan wills, and knowing them helps you get closer to Starclan. ✦ Codewords The fall is always the perfect time to enjoy scrumptious snacks.
