This will play through by itself, but if you want to return to a certain step, press a number key and it will play just that step! Finished map part: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1292941052/ I don't think I've ever shared how I do my animation so i thought I'd show you guys! This is less of a tutorial and more like just the steps i take to finish an animation. secret step 0: have the visions (basically i just imagine what the characters are doing in my head) step 1: rough sketch/storyboard - just to get the posing and ideas down! i got too excited so i didn't do the second half yet step 2: clean up the sketch + add more inbetweens - i used to just freestyle inbetweens during line art back from like 2019-2022 but now i find it easier to sketch them step 3: line art - i line the sketches and add a few more inbetweens. There's a background texture/color is just to reduce art theft! step 4: color + cell shading - i add color, color the line art, and add cell shading (since its pretty much like color too) step 5: additional shading - gradients, highlighting edges, eye shines, etc. step 6: finished product! - make/animate the background and merge! I also bump up the saturation in firealpaca since it usually exports desaturated i was gonna make the background a separate step but i forgot to save the frames individually before merging :( CREDITS: art + animation: @Silverpelt_ (i use FireAlpaca to animate!) character designs: (tigerheart and dovewing from the Warriors book series): @TinyTansy music: Love Is An Open Door from (Disney) Frozen
