Welcome! 1. When did you start writing? I've been writing for seven years, though I've only started doing comics since last year 2. What genre do you prefer to write? I prefer to write fantasy, wulxia, or shenxia. When I write western fantasy, it typically has a bit of sci-fi, steampunk or some other genre with it. 3. What's a genre you've never written but would like to try? I think writing a mystery novel set in a fantasy world would be fun to write. Already have my detective picked out for myself :) 4. Do you get inspired by books you read? YES. 5. What's the latest you've stayed up writing? Probably 1:30 AM. 6. Do you get inspiration at 3am? Only from my bladder to go relieve myself :3 7. How many finished short stories / novellas / poetry / books do you have? I have finished seven works in total, but most of them were also relatively short and old, LOL. 8. Is your search history questionable? Most of the times not because I've already memorized all the dark facts to heart. LOL. 9. What is the favorite character you've ever written and why? Probably this poor older dude whose a king. He thinks his best friend when he was young betrayed him and has held resentment about that for a while. He's a great king--cares a lot about his people. 10. What is the least favorite character you've ever written and why? One of my first characters. He literally like got stabbed and didn't care. It was weird. 11. Do you have a designated place for writing in your home? I usually sit at my laptop on the table, but do like to move to the reclining chair when I can. 12. Have you ever written a story inspired by a dream? Nope. My dreams are all too crazy. 13. Are you currently writing a story? Yep! Multiple, in fact. I'm writing a book, and two comics. One of which is Burpy the Farmcat! 14. What's the word count on your current wip? 48,639 for my book. Burpy is up to eight chapters. I'm on the last scene of the first chapter for my other comic. 15. Do you have playlists for your characters? For my book I listen to Kung Fu Panda or Burpy the Farmcat while writing, LOL. Don't really listen to anything for my comics. As for playlists in particular that fit, I can imagine my main character singing John Denver music.
(Continued) 16. Have you ever written fan-fiction? Yep. Three of the finished works mentioned earlier were fan-fictions. Burpy is also strictly a fan-thingy too, though because there aren't really any elements of Warriors besides the world-building I'd hesitate to call it a true fan-fiction. I'ma call it a fan-thingy :) 17. Out of context, what is the strangest thing that one of your characters has said? "Can't talk if I don't got no juice." From an older story, LOL. Little me had some interesting dialogue choices. 18. Do you need silence while you write? NO. Please, anything but silence. If I have music playing, it kinda locks me in because if I'm too lazy and stop writing I'll have to do all the work to turn off the music. 19. Have you ever done NaNoWriMo? Nope. 20. Are you a plotter or a pantser? A little bit of both like most people. I lean more plotter for my books, but my pantser will occasionally come out and give me a better idea then what I've outlined. For my comics, though, I'm almost entirely a plotter past the few opening chapters. I'm usually a panster for the opening chapters just so I can get the flow of the story before I start outlining. I want to really know the characters before the outline, you know? 21. How many notebooks do you have? Way too many...I don't even think I can count them. They're scattered everywhere. 22. Is english/LA you're favorite class? I really can't stand any schoolwork, but if I HAD to choose, yeah, I'd prefer english. 23. Do you want to be a writer after you graduate? YES. 24. Which author do you look up to? Tolkien! 25. Do you remember the first story you ever wrote? What was it about? The very, very, first story I ever wrote was about Super Cheetah, a cheetah superhero who protected the savanna. I made little comic books of it. 26. Do you ever think of the fandom your book will have if you ever publish it? Not really. I more fear all the stuff people will make-up and think is cannon that's not actually in the book, LOL. 27. How often do you procrastinate your wips? Not really. I'm a workaholic. 28. Do you write chronologically or jump back and forth between parts? Chronologically. 29. Have you ever co-written a book/short story with someone? Not really. Done a few attempts with my sister @Sprinkelfire when I was younger, but never really came up with more than a paragraph. 30. How often do your characters get un-alived? Often in every story except Burpy. I've sworn to keep that one mostly lighthearted. But in everything else, no one is safe.
