Mexico ends up collapsing due to using up all their manpower for the war, and being unable to defend from within. However, the rebels succeeded in Texas, creating a Hispanic Texas that unified with Coahuila to form the Empire of Coahuila-y-Tejas. Utah and California agreed to peace. Cascadia gets a puppet called the Republic of Salt Lake, and gets land in the north of Califonia. Baja California manages to capture San Diego. Up north, a coalition invades Ohio and New York, catching them off guard and making rapid gains in the process.
