So as you all probably know, I have recently been publishing songs (5 so far) in my debut album called Honey. The songs go over various topics like first crushes, friendships, love triangles, school life, etc, and today I wanted to say what ties them all together. I got heavy inspiration from Taylor swift and many other pop artists and the thing that really inspired me about Taylor Swift was the themes in her album. Her album lover is well..about love. Her album the tortured poets is about poetry style songs so what is honey themed after? Since music is a mixed topic in my religion, I made the songs acapella which means they are just vocals. The quote if I ever planned to sell this album one day would be: “Cause some things in life are just sweet as honey,” and that is truly what this album is about, the things in life that are sweet as honey, whether they be crushes, friendships, school life, etc. So my album is mainly meant to be acapella songs focusing on the sweet parts of life.
