TW: SA, Abuse, attempts of sewersliding, self destruction Read at your own risk!! Shiori Ayano was born on January 11, 2002. Her parents always looked down on her with pity, especially her mother Emi Ayano. Her father, Ryuji didn’t care much about her, at least not in the way your own father should. (Not very fatherly to say the least). Practically since the day she was born, she has been working non-stop whether it was to keep the house clean or feed herself and or even taking care of her mother that acted more like a child than the responsible adult she claims to be. Her dad works all the time and comes back late at night every single day and if food isn’t at least stored in the microwave he knows he’ll have to punish Shiori the following day. Now she was about ten years old when she ran away the same night her father had done something… concerning than just his usual beatings with frustration towards her and it made her sick to her stomach. She was planning to end the little life she had spent trying to survive in that house. She had then realized she was never living life to the fullest. That wasn’t living, just not dying. The difference was unbeknownst to her until now and instead of working harder to feel that warmness in her bloom, that foreign feeling she dreamt of. The ones that kept her going to be in a house like that. She would rather work hard to give to others but not herself. She just wanted to cut it off and leave it at an end before she sinks even further into her sorrow. Those thoughts swirled up and she was now crying in an alley way. Each thought, each breath, added on to her plate of negativity that grew into her. She felt utterly useless now on the streets and with the reminisce of what her dad did to her, she walked around for an easy way out. Just as she was looking down at passerbys walking, waiting for a clear path straight down where she wanted, a group of sorcerers in the outskirts of Tokyo stopped her and took her in. Before any of this occurred she had no idea of the potential in her to become a Jujustu sorcerer as her cursed energy has been growing in her ever since that incident with her father. And with more training she gains control over her cursed energy and her technique that is a high risk and high reward ability that converts physical trauma into a weaponizable energy source like a strength through suffering. She quickly developed this due to her father’s unforgivable actions that night she was SA’d, when she ran away she did in fact feel the energy storing inside of her but her overwhelming negative thoughts distracted it from working. Fast forwarding to when she was taken in by sorcerers that saved her life that night she then trained relentlessly with no one by her side just to gain partial control of her technique. Years later, now twenty her mother tried contacting her after her father had died which was such a relief to hear for Shiori. Though her mom tried over and over to convince Shiori to leave Jujustu high and just live a normal life, Shiori refused. This stirred things up and Shiori tried now desperately to get away from her mother. Her mother keeps guilt tripping Shiori into going back to living with her, sending lots of messages that make Shiori feel bad but still she still continues to ignore her mother for years to come. Now, Shiori is 24 years old and has dedicated the rest of her career to finding and taking care of other kids that have gone through the same or similar things that she has. Whilst also going on missions and getting a full grasp of her technique. Shiori lives within the dorms at Jujustu tech but she also owns a small apartment just a few blocks down from Jujustu technical high school. Shiori is often seen alone on school grounds or working. She just continues trying her best at doing her job that she might not exactly love but tolerates, she’d rather be there than going back to the slums where she once was.
