help why did the image quality get fried when i uploaded it to scratch space to go to next anways hii my entry for @bookworm_KOTLCnerd 's color palette contest I did palette #4 The image didn't fit the size of the screen so there's black bands on the edges :P The second image with the white background is there in case it's easier to see without the orange background. When I first saw the palette i honestly thought of raichu and pikachu.. But then I started thinking about a fire/lava theme. You've heard of mermaids in the sea, how about mermaids in magma? Info about Rhyo: - She is a mermaid that lives in lava/magma. - Her name Rhyo, comes from a type of magma called rhyolithic magma. There's also something called rhyolite which is a volcanic rock. - Sort of a confident and adventurous personality Still cooking up some other lore ideas hehe
I saw this tail fin design that I really liked while searching how to draw tail fins, and the one I drew for Rhyo is heavily based on it! I just saw it on Google images but I think it's by abiitails on Instagram. so yeah tysm to abiitails, your designs are beautiful!
