So um I can't draw scenes but I like designing them oh well so when the number changes space/click/arrow keys/g/whatever you want really 1. so this is basically just my rough sketch of how everything looks from the entrance. I'll go into more detail about everything in the following slides. This is very messy but that's my notes for you. The writing is in red because it stands out, not because it's like spooky and mysterious or something lol Also: Um I didn't know where to put this but I named the ledge bit the Leaders' Ledge (for this project, at least) because it sounds cool and also it's easier to type than "the ledge where the leaders sit" because of the two ledges Also also: I just wanted to say that there is quite a lot of space in the main area, I was just kinda squishing everything on and it looks really small D: 2. Read the notes in the project, and then continue So this pool/lake/large puddle/thing freezes in the colder seasons, but this isn't too much of a problem. Cats are encouraged to go to the edges, as it's slightly shallower there. If the ice breaks, it's shallow enough that the cat might get a little cold, but they should be able to wade through quickly enough to avoid getting a chill. The day before the gathering, one cat from each clan is sent to go check on the water levels. If it's completely empty, then if possible, every cat should bring a leaf-full of water to fill it back up again. There could also be some sort of cleansing ceremony before coming into the main area or something where they wash themselves in the water or something - I don't really know about this, but it might be cool. It's also directly below the crack in the ceiling (next slide) 3 & 4. Right so this is how the moon and stuff work. There's a sorta like hole in the ceiling and during the time of night of the gathering that's exactly where the moon is. It's planned to be like that. So the moonlight or whatever comes through there and then reflects on the water (last slide) and goes up to a shiny rock in the ceiling, and then reflects back to the Leaders' Ledge, so it ends up as a sort of spotlight thing. If the moon gets covered with clouds or moves or whatever then the spotlight thing will disappear, and will leave the clans in darkness, and that will be the sign to leave. Hey so I just had an idea help so what if when they discovered the cave and saw the spotlight looking thingymabob on the leaders' ledge and thought "OMG SIGN ROM STARCLAN" and decided "lets go here" 5. In the main area, away from the leaders' ledge, is where the non-highranks sit. It's almost exactly the same as any other patch of cave floor, however there are some piles of moss on the floor. This is because, above their heads, there are some vines attached to some stalactites. The cats can sit on the vines if they want to. To get up there, the cat must climb the cave wall, which is fairly easy to do, due to the support the cats have added over the years. Once up there, the cat should lay on the vines, as this is the easiest way to avoid falling off, though it might be quite uncomfortable for some. In that case, they should go to a place where there are more vines in a row, so they can sit down. Standing is strictly not allowed. Of course, there are some safety features. The first is that there are multiple vines between each stalactite, and if even one of them breaks, it is highly recommended to get off immediately. This gives them plenty of notice before everything breaks and topples to the ground. Another feature is the previously mentioned moss - this is placed below wherever the vines are, to give a slightly cushioned fall, should they just fall off. It is advised not to sit in the moss, as this would have the risk of having a cat fall onto you For who can go on the vines, it is mostly first come, first served, however apprentices are given priority, as it is often used as a test of bravery, as their safety is not exactly guaranteed up there. Once all the apprentices who wish to go up have gone up, anyone is welcome to squeeze on. 6.
