after we leave our school, our "home" will we still be connected? by the years we've spent here? a few for some, a decade for others memories created within these walls we grew up here we grew up with each other growth spurts, birthdays, hard times, good times we shared everything with each other our weekends, our days, our lives and now its all coming to an end we are leaving our home, spread out across miles and miles some of us stay together others will be alone but will we still be connected? will we still hang out on weekends, talk about our day, make each other laugh? no more passing each other in the halls no more playing handball during lunch no more talking in class no more being together will we drift apart? separated by school, schedules, sports, new friends? our childhood, spent at this school, with each other, coming to an end.
