[1 COLLAB + TNEs] Fireflies - Open Mothwing MAP

Instructions

Hosting another MAP, check it out if you’re interested! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1260715526 Welcome to my third MAP! I’m really excited for this one. This is a scripted MAP about Mothwing, and her lack of connection to StarClan as a medicine cat. (I’ve put a lot of effort into this so let’s hope it’s successful!) ~Rules: (sorry for long list) - No mean or manipulative behaviour. (guilt tripping) - Use your own art. No AI, tracing, stealing, etc. - Obviously, keep your part or TNE appropriate for Scratch. - Only I can accept or invite people. - You can do a max of 2 parts. - Codeword is Firefly (fake) - This is not a beginner friendly MAP unfortunately. I’m looking for fairly experienced animators and artists, but don’t be afraid to ask. If I don’t reply in 1-3 days, that is a very polite no. - Anyone can make a TNE (you don’t have to ask!) - Please don’t do a part until you are accepted. I don’t want anyone to put work into something that won’t end up being used. :( - Fake parts are ok but please label it as such. (Apply first if the part isn’t already taken) - Follow the script and refs inside the project. (Sprite called Refs and Script) - Make your part or TNE a remix so I can find it. - Animate in sprites, not backdrops. Try to make your part 1 sprite, but you can do up to 3 if absolutely needed. - AMV preferred, but PMV is fine unless specified otherwise in the script. - Feel free to use clones and other code, I can easily incorporate it in the MAP (plus it looks good and keeps sprite counts lower) - Deadline is 3 weeks per part, but you can get an extension if you share a WIP. - Real codeword is Moth. - Do your best to fit the theme of the song, I want this MAP to have a dreamlike feel. (There is a Moodboard in the refs if you want inspiration) - It is night in ALL parts! - Note: This MAP has elements that will be very hard to add if you animate in Scratch. I might be able to help figure something out depending on the scene. ~To ask for a part, read the whole description and fill in the applicable form below. Uninvited: Username // Part(s) you want // 2-4 animation or art examples // Codeword // Any questions or comments Invited: Username // Part(s) you want // Codeword // Any questions or comments ~For TNEs: Your thumbnail entry should include Mothwing (the design used in this MAP) in RiverClan territory at night with (preferably glowing) words: Fireflies: A Complete Mothwing MAP. ~Credits: Song is Fireflies by Owl City. Some cat refs are by @TinyTansy. (Listed in ref costumes) from this project: and an older project that isn’t available anymore. Everything else is by me.
