The year is 1060. It has been 15 years since Kaigoku's war with Brightshire over the island, though tensions between the two naval powers never simmered down. While Brightshire's new party in power looks desperately to improve national morale and unify its people through a period of economic uncertainty, the Takmyojin slowly loses his grip on both his nation as well as his own sanity. Through this turmoil, tensions between the two rise... And it's only a matter of time until they boil over.
Hey everyone, I've returned from my very short "semi-permanent departure" with a new project. I told you all I wouldn't be back for a while unless it were for something explicitly RP/NRP-related, so here I am. Because I'm both too lazy to do a full-scale NRP and I'm too pretentious to just be normal for once, I've decided to go ahead and try a new RP format: A Micro-RP (MRP/MNRP). What does this mean? Well... To sum it up, it's basically just a short-term, limited-scale NRP. Rather than spanning multiple months or years and having countless members come and go, an MNRP is meant to be between a few days to a week or so in length; Long enough to roleplay a limited-scale conflict between nations. Given Namija is meant to be a relatively short "what if" scenario to fulfill a promise I had for a conflict in a now long-dead RP, it's more of a collaborative writing project than a true RP. Since it's supposed to be a one-on-one conflict between Brightshire and Kaigoku, whether or not this will even have sign-ups for extra members is really up in the air right now. If easyred and I both agree on it, then we might allow involvement from other users who were also in Dissension during its very short lifespan, but nothing's guaranteed. Official start date TBA.
