Run this on your resource-starved machine for a taste of what an optimised (and less buggy) Schoolferno could've been! Download it if you wish or need be.
Schooledferno is an attempt to optimise Schoolferno as much as possible and hopefully so it'll also be playable on Scratch Everywhere, well, everywhere. This is just a live showcase of the code I've rewritten at the moment - there is a full demo, but only the assets have been optimised, though thankfully the game's half the size. Hope that helps. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1294144944/ Changelog: * March 22, 2026: Initial release * March 23, 2026: Added the in-game UI and music, as I had experimented with the previous day, because why not; the former has no functionality yet * March 30, 2026: Made the music use the standard "until done" block instead of a "wait 120 seconds" block, rebuilt the first level and gotten basic horizontal movement mechanics and scrolling working, complete with all character animations; also added an undo feature because I'm tired of having to view the cutscenes every test and you might too * March 31, 2026: Tried (but failed) to add level physics; you can't use the jet but can still collide, and collision sounds play constantly
