The 2nd logo for Taco Television involves the word "TACO" in an awkwardly bulged font typical of its time period. Initially the logo used the same music as the previous one, before being replaced in 1982 by an excerpt of the famous library music "Calling All Clowns" by David Lindup. On May 7th 1987, regular programming on Taco Television was interrupted by a news report stating that the Laotian City weekend, Celfix, Zoppen and Jexenton franchisees had not had their licenses renewed. Taco Radio & TV plc, the owners of Taco Radio and Taco Television, lost out to Moon Broadcasting, the owners of the Zoppen radio station Music from the Moon, with Taco Television's owner Taco Radio & TV plc pulling out of the TV business early on December 18th 1988. Moon TV began operating the following day, using the Taco Television name and logo until December 31st that same year.
