Keys: C - Drink coffee | Space - Slap youself Down Arrow - Check rearview mirror Up Arrow - Put away mirror | P - Drive away for a sec Welcome to Followed. I’m really glad you’re checking out this project, as it’s a game built around that uneasy feeling of being watched on a long, lonely night drive. In this experience, you aren't just driving; you're surviving. Your main priority is to keep your car fueled up, but every time you stop to pump gas, you become a target. You’ll need to manage your resources and your nerves if you want to make it to the end of the road. To stay alive, you have to balance your refueling with your surroundings. Pumping gas takes exactly ten seconds, and during that window, the "Follower" behind you will slowly creep closer at a rate of about half a step every second. You can track his progress by pressing the Down Arrow to check your rearview mirror. Your distance starts at one hundred, and your goal is simple: don't let that number hit zero. If he reaches the car, the journey ends right then and there. As you play, keep a very close eye on the mirror when things get tense. If your distance drops below twenty, you might start to notice the world around you breaking down. There is a very rare, one-in-one-hundred chance that a total system glitch will occur, showing you a corrupted, dark red version of your dashboard. I’ve even hidden a special secondary game-over screen for those who are "unlucky" enough to trigger this event, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re a fan of finding secrets. Thanks again for playing and supporting my work! I’m already brainstorming a sequel that moves beyond the driver's seat and into multiple locations with different mechanics, similar to the style of FNaF: Sister Location. I hope you enjoy the tension of the drive, and remember: no matter how much you want to, try not to look back for too long.
If you find any bugs, let me know! Fixed it! A little laggy...and the bugs are horrendous at the moment.
