I sped my voice up because I don't like the way it sounds at normal speed. That's just a personal issue. Click anywhere in the project to hear the recording, but I recommend starting by reading the stuff below. I saw this message on someone's profile (shocker!) and I realized that it uses a LOT of Greek letters (as well as one Cyrillic letter, but more on that later). I have very surface-level knowledge of the pronunciation of Greek letters, so I thought it would be funny to try and actually read the message as if I were reading it in Greek instead of English (with a few exceptions). The only non-Greek foreign letter that appears in this message is the Cyrillic letter "Ge with a stroke" (Ғ), which represents the voiced uvular fricative /ʁ/. In simpler terms, it's basically pronounced the same as the "R" in languages like French and German. Those exceptions I mentioned earlier? Yeah, here they are: ~ I pronounced the symbols "R," "L," "D," and "G" in English because the symbols themselves do not appear in either the Greek or Cyrillic alphabets. While at least one of the sounds appears in both languages, the letters do not, and that's what I'm using to read the message. ~ I only pronounced the "HI" in "THIΔ" as /i/ because "H" (Eta) and "I" (Iota) represent the same sound in modern Greek, although I don't think they ever appear beside each other. ~ A few of these consonant clusters don't appear in Greek (especially the "DΣM" in "DΣMIGΩD"), so I didn't know what I was doing there. ~ I actually can't roll my R's. I'm embarrassed to say so, but it's true. Because of that, I'm pronouncing all rhotic consonants with an approximate instead. ~ After recording, I realized that I was pronouncing the "U" as /i/ because I mistook it for the lowercase Greek "υ" (Upsilon). I should've pronounced it as /u/ since it's among the letters within the message that don't appear in either the Greek or Cyrillic alphabets. I'm not going to change it because recording this was actually pretty hard and I don't want to do it again. I probably didn't mention everything, so I guess I apologize in advance if you're a little confused. I honestly have absolutely no idea what I'm doing anymore. He's winter.
I suppose I should credit @SolangeloSunStar because I originally found the message on their profile. That's pretty much it, though. Have a nice day. He's winter.
