Featuring my lovely cat as the thumbnail :3 Click/Any key for next slide! /// Brief explanation, so sorry this is late, I meant to share this before the deadline but completely forgot until hours after, so I hope this still is acceptable. /// That’s right folks, your boy is finally doing another manager application! I figured since I’ve been a long time member of the studio [for a newer studio at least]decently frequent , that being a manager would be pretty beneficial to others. with that being said, let’s move on with the transcript [this is mainly for accessibility purposes, all text can be found within the project itself]: /// Hi! My name's Khalid, but others know me as Kallie, Kaz, Khal, or Zip! I've been a member of DBD since October 2025, on an alt account [MrElectricBlue]. As of current, I am 15 years old and my timezone is CST. I'm a massive infodumper, mainly on topics of music, Pokémon, PreCure, Alien Stage, Animation, Stranger Things, etc. I also love to make friends, and speak to new people on Scratch in general! I have some experience in managing smaller, mainly queer-focused studios [The Achillean Association, to name one] in the past. I've also had a few slightly successful studios I started from Scratch [no pun intended]. Because of these experiences, they taught me a lot about how much I enjoyed providing a resource to others, and finding my own and helping others find community within them; it's the main reasons I'd love to be promoted to manager. To add to this, I'm very active on Scratch, excluding breaks, I am online on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturday during nights [so like 6 or 7/10 on the activity scale] /// Here's why I'd think I'd be an amazing manager: 1: I don't aim to start or instigate drama, rather I aim to dissolve it opposed to ignoring it. 2: I don't demean others. 3: I'm fairly easy to talk to, making it easier for members and managers to communicate with me. 4: I'm open to feedback from others, as well as corporate with them. 5: I can confront members on any rule-breaking or problematic behavior. 6: I am pretty familiar with the studio itself. 7: I am self-aware of my potential actions, good or bad. /// Why I'd not be the best pick for manager: 1: Since I'm not online 24/7, I can't manage on specific days. 2: I can be argumentative if I disagree with something. 3: I tend to misunderstand easily, which can possibly lead to arguments. /// Improvement ideas: Having members of the studio getting a chance to voice their concerns in case of rule or management changes. We already have something like just this with the Suggestions Studio, but I think something more like if enough members had the same concern, managers could then reconsider if they see fit, which allows non-managers more direct involvement with the studio itself. /// That's all I have to say, so thanks for the opportunity, and good luck to everyone else applying :3 /// Image descriptions: Two puppy-like Pokémon named Caloulou sit at the left of the screen with a wide smile and sparkles in their eyes; one is tilted at 75 degree angle and is orange with red accents, and the other is at a 90 degree angle and is grey also with red accents. From the right, a drawing of a blue lizard Pokémon with purple eyes and background sits with a smug expression on its face; it has big eyes and light blue eyelashes, with a big tail and a light blue belly, with a water drop shape adorning its head. Directly under it is a drawing of a character named Pawbert, who is turned to the side and is waving with a cheerful expression whilst looking back at something. The image across is of New York Mayor, Zohran Mamdani, wearing a long sleeve shirt and tie, smiling whilst holding a transgender pride flag in a blurry parking lot background with the text, « Su » with a broken red heart emoji. Underneath is a image of artist Danny Brown’s Stardust Album cover, including the blond-headed man being clouded by darkness with light shining beneath him, bear-chested, wearing black pants with the sleeves slightly rolled up, revealing a blue and white sneaker on his right foot, and a purple boot on his left; the text reads « DANNY BROWN »
