The Caribbean has established a new diplomatic position, nicknamed the New World Protocol. Drawing heavily from the Monroe Doctrine, it states that any foreign intervention in the Americas is an indirect attack on the Caribbean itself. In addition to this, the Caribbean, in co-operation with the OSN, will seek to maintain the balance of power in the Americas and ensure no nation becomes too powerful for its own good. If any neutral nation in the Americas is invaded – either by an American power, or otherwise – without justification, the Caribbean will impose sanctions and threaten military action.
(Out of RP) Part of the reason I’ve made this policy is to allow newcomers to play as the free American nations, without getting invaded by a superpower.
