Back when the other mascots besides scratch cat were first added to scratch, rumors of a forgotten 6th mascot named Yotta. They say that the day before the update was rolled out, Yotta was found dead in scratch's server room. She had marks that imply that she had been killed with some sort of sharp weapon. With the update rapidly approaching and no good workaround/replacement for Yotta, they simply decided to roll out the update without her. It's unknown who killed her, but an axe had been left at the scene. When they went to analyze the fingerprints left on the axe, they found no prints that resembled human fingerprints. But they DID find markings that looked more similar to something resembling... a cat...
Thanks to THEPUG_GAMER for the original project Yotta.
