Hi! Vega here :) Recently I've been planning on making a RP stable for myself because I don't really have one. I think I mentioned this in my "What I'm Up To!" project but I had some questions and I thought I might ask the studios I'm in and post about it because I haven't posted in a hot second :/ I want Navy Sky Equestrian to be a dressage exclusive barn because I didn't just want to make an eventing barn and I am a dressage rider myself. I was planning on the stable having a competitive riding team, horse and rider training, and some boarding and horse sales. Please comment with your opinions because I'd LOVE to hear them
These are my questions: 1. Do people even really use barn services that much? I mean I'll see like lessons barn occasionally advertised but I don't usually see people actually using these services. It's probably like a service pricing and stuff like that. I don't want to charge too much because then no one will want to use it and I also don't really need HS/GE because I want to use as much of my own art for it. 2. Should I make a new profile that's specifically for roleplay only? I was thinking of moving to a new account to get a nice clean fresh start so I wouldn't have overhaul my profile but the only thing that can be hard is moving everything over with the studio banking things. 3. This kind of goes with my second question. I already have update projects that aren't very consistent so I haven't really like committed to it yet. It would be the easiest to just retcon everything all my RP stuff and start completely new. Also what about like backstories for characters and stuff? I want my new character (who is kind of just me) to be a professional grand prix dressage rider who has been successfully competing for years but obviously that never happened because it would be in the past, get what I mean? So can I just make up stuff like that? Thysm for reading I really appreciate it!
