"In grief and in glory, still great is His faithfulness" I was hesitant on posting this cover since it's kind of an ambitious song to sing solo (it's meant for a group and has diff voices I can't do). This song is relatively new for me to sing. I had a few notes that didn't hit pitch wise, and overall this sounds better irl.. But, I decided to post it anyways. Well, here's the long description most people don't read: These past few months and especially this week, I've been struggling on my walk with God. A lot. I've been making technology/media an idol, prioritizing it over everything. I've been scrolling and hyper checking all the websites I'm on like there's no tomorrow.. I've struggled with that for years and YEARS but recently it's been making me feel dry and icky but I can't help but do it. Every day feels like I do all this wasting time and prioritizing tech and then at night I come to God and repent and feel legit guilty and the next day I act like nothing happened.. I know all Christians struggle in their walk with Christ, but this is a genuine problem. I've come to realize that every time I fall and even though it's so awful how much of a habit this is, I can't just say "I'm too bad for God, therefore I won't repent of my sins or come to Him in honesty." I've come to realize more this year that He is always faithful, caring, and of course loving. He WANTS my mess, your mess, our mess of a heart and sins. I mean, He's the only one that can mend it! We tend to think He's mad at us and doesn't want anything to do with us but that isn't true. He's our Lord and Savior, His ways are higher than ours. When the enemy tries to get me away from God by making me think I'm too "horrible" for His grace and love, I am reminded of His truths which are always true no matter how bad we are. We will always be bad, but our hope is not in ourselves or the "best person we want to be," but in HIM and HIM alone. Even if you aren't Christian, God offers His love to you. He cares for you so so much, more than I can ever describe. He's changed my life in so many ways for the better that this description can't fill. Even amidst struggle and hardship, I can say that His love and care for me conquers over any lie planted in my head against that, and His power triumphs over any arrow that comes firing my way. If you have any questions about God or prayer requests, don't be afraid to ask. I'm not insanely knowledgable but I'll try my best to answer. Lord willing. <3 Thank you for listening and reading my always long descriptions. Sorry the vocals this time sound iffy, I don't completely know this song, but I love it so much!
