❀ Update | Flatwork with Frosty ❀ -- Today I had just a bit of time to work with Frosty, and I think it's safe to say that spring has officially sprung here at Wildflower Acres! It was finally warm enough for me to be comfortable in short sleeves, and I think all of the horses are appreciating the warmer weather as well. Some of us however, I think are having a hard time handling the excitement. As Frosty's been settling in with us, I've gotten to know her pretty well and I've learned that she's just a big goofball most of the time. When I come to bring her in she gives me crazy looks, but overall she's a very hard worker under saddle. I think we could just work a bit on her ground manners! She was just a bit spooky today and nearly bucked me off at one point. I'm hoping that this is just her getting used to ridden work as she's still quite young and I was told that she started work slightly late.
