SUMMARY OF PROLOGUE BC IT WAS HARD TO ADAPT IT INTO A COMIC (I promise the rest of it will make more sense, I just wrote the prologue in an unconventional way in the first place :skull:) Their house is burning down. Kade wants to go back inside to help their mom, who is stuck inside. Kendra is scared and doesn't want him to go. Kade shoves Kendra away and tries to help his mom, but he's too late. Kendra has been taken by the authorities by the time he gets back outside. From there, their lives just kind of go on their separate ways.
