Hi everyone, I'm back ,:) And I think I owe you a bit of an explanation as to why I was gone so long: 1. TOS Not just about the AI thing. The entire thing was, in my opinion, unclear and had loopholes, especially with the muting/banning elements of it. And, yes, I was also worried about what Scratch is planning to do with AI. I wasn't going to accept anything until I found out more - and that information would be confirmed, not just a rumour. And, since I couldn't accept, I wasn't able to personally let you guys know why I'm inactive. I had a plan of action that still stands if anything goes funky on Scratch again: If I wouldn't be able to return, I'd unshare all my projects and move them somewhere else. 2. Schoolwork Hey so update apparently not only have the teachers been torturing us during the year, but also my class gets little to no time during the summer, because the amount of projects that we have to do is depressing ;-; 3. Burnout I don’t think I need to explain it that much ,:) 4. Other hobbies It might be shocking, but I am also a real person with more than one passion in life. I’ve been doing a lot of stuff lately, like making bracelets, costumes, and clothes, and auditioning for some voice acting jobs, just overall trying to do more than one thing :) 5. Figuring myself out HOLY COW. The amount of mental energy and time needed to figure out exactly(ish) what I even am is insane. For now, I’m pretty sure I’m somewhere under the non-binary umbrella, but I still have no clue as to where TwT 6. Mental health overall I won’t go deep into this one, I’ll just say I was unhealthily worried about one of my friends, but I’m better now :)
TL;DR: I was gone because: 1. The new TOS seemed shady and had blurred lines, and I am NOT accepting something that's not fully clear. I wanted to get more info about TOS first. 2. Schoolwork was (and still kinda is) killing me TwT 3. Burnout. Especially with schoolwork sucking up most of my energy and thought. 4. Other hobbies are also fun to do… 5. Identity crisis 6. Mental health BUT I'M BACK NOW! :D
