In this RP, there are a few different stats you can keep track of. Some are used in rolling, while others are just for fun. These stats are as follows: > STRENGTH > HEALTH > STEALTH There are others, like SIZE or MONEY, but these are not usually tracked somewhere you can see, though they are used for genetics. [[STRENGTH]] Strength would determine your speed, or climbing abilities, or fighting power, etc in-RP. Strength is used in any battle or hunting rolls. It can be increased by training, such as practicing lifting things or fighting. This is not very clear, so ask me about any weird cases you may encounter. [[HEALTH]] Health mostly determines how likely you are to get illnesses, and how likely you are to die from them or wounds if hurt. Interestingly, it also determines how well you can heal another Lurlim. Every time you survive an injury or illness, your score increases. It also increases when you heal anyone. [[STEALTH]] Stealth, like Strength, is pretty self-explanatory. If you're looking to spy, steal, sneak, or hunt, this stat will come in handy. In some cases, it can also be used as a nimbleness of sorts- Anyone who can tread lightly enough to not crunch a leaf, or get away with a crime unseen probably has pretty good balance or care, yes? This score can be increased by things like eavesdropping, hunting, stealing, hiding games, etc. But if you do crimes, be warned- Those can be punished, and won't always improve your stat if you're caught.... [[SIZE]] Size is not measured in feet and inches, and never changes. Your size is based on the average for your species, and is a number out of ten. A size 1 Lurlim would be very small, a 5 would be average, and a 10 would be really big. There IS a chance of a change when you reach adulthood, but it's small and often genetic. Your size will be listed on the litter project, but not tracked visibly by staff. [[MONEY]] Money is also not a tracked resource, nor is inventory. It's not even really a stat...! However, to prevent confusion with the many economical bits of this roleplay, I feel that I should mention it. Don't make yourself too rich right off the bat- Have fun roleplaying! Would your character be able to afford this or that? Maybe, maybe not! Unless you really want to, nobody is going to keep an exact number on their coins OORP. Don't worry too much about it. :D [[ABOUT STATS]] Stats are rolled for kits when a litter is created or registered. They are a mix of random chance & genetics. Most 'lims will have similar stat totals, but genetics, chance, and things can take that up or down. Certain diseases, genetic or not, can also affect your starting stats, or change them throughout play! [[TRACKING]] Stats are tracked on the Lurlim storage project. If you have an RP where you think your stats changed, fill out the form there, and someone will make sure to check the thread and add the points. Another way these can change is if a staff member rolls that you survived an injury/illness, increasing your Health stat. They will report that, so you won't have to.
