Not too long after Darkmist's brother, Whitepaw was killed, he became mates with his best friend, Lightfoot. Moons later, his mate became the leader of the Clan. He's been going into a spiral ever since his little brother's death, slowly going insane as his entire life was falling apart, his Clan was slowly being picked off like bugs. It wouldn't be long before he'd die too. When their camp was ambushed, he sacrificed himself for Lightstar.
