I was born during the renaissance, and my life had a huge impact on the world. I was born on April 15, 1452, in Vinci, Republic of Florence. (Livingston) My father, Ser Piero da Vinci, was a lawyer, and my mother, Caterina, was either a peasant woman or a slave. Ser Piero da Vinci and Caterina were unmarried when I was born. (Leonardo da Vinci) I spent many famous years of my life in Florence, but I also lived in Milan for a period of time. I died on May 2, 1519, and lived to 67 years old. I died in Cloux, near Amboise, France. (Livingston) Many say that during my life, I was the ultimate Renaissance Man (someone who was skilled in many fields).
