» @DaisySays » Daffodilkit » Daffodil would probably end up nonbinary and use they/he and be pan + poly. Since I'm mostly talking about them as a kit, I'll mainly use she/her » [ + ] creative, polite, genuine, charismatic [ = ] Faithful, diligent, intelligent, extraverted [ - ] disloyal, possessive, selfish, fickle » When you first meet Daffodilkit, the first thing you notice is how polite she is, always greeting the warriors and apprentices that pass by the nursery as well as making sure to not stress out the queens and elders whenever they come to visit, endearing most to the sweet kit. But don't think that she doesn't interact with her fellow kits, for she adores meeting and making friends with others, always quick to assign them a colour based on how they make her feel and acting accordingly to it. However all colours have both positive and negative meanings, so Daffodil often changes her mind on what meaning a cat fits best, dropping them like rotten prey if they upset her too much or cozying up to them if they impress her enough. For those she considers to be gold, there's little to no chance Daffodilkit will ever think negatively of you or let you go. » hopefully as long as possible! I'll try to grind a ton to increase the chances of that happen » folded ears is caused by a condition known as osteochondrodysplasia which causes the cat's cartilage to not develop enough, leading to the folded ears since the cartilage in the ears isn't strong enough to hold the shape. However, it doesn't just affect the ears, but all places in the body that have cartilage instead of bones or have it as a buffer for the bones like the joints. Because the cartilage isn't enough, it can cause fused bones, a bunny like gait, a hard time carrying their weight, difficulty using hind legs, arthritis and eventually an inability to walk because of how painful the arthritis is. These symptoms can appear at as young as two months or seven weeks for cats who have two copies of the gene where as cats with one present these issues at around 6 months and it progresses much slower, taking a few years to get to the same point. Because of all of this, Daffodil will have an increasingly hard time grooming herself, getting around and doing standard warrior activities to the point where she'll most likely have to retire early because of how painful it'll be. Because I'll approach this as her having one copy, most of these symptoms will start appearing when she hits six moons and become fully debilitating when she's around 24 moons https://www.petmd.com/cat/conditions/genetic/osteochondrodysplasia-cats https://www.ufaw.org.uk/cats/scottish-fold-osteochondrodysplasia https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2868141/
