First section is basic facts for those who don't know what Hermitcraft is. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Humans, scavengers, and players are the same -Watchers are purple, Runaways are pink/magenta -Listeners are dark green, Runaways are light green -Watchers made the Life Series (death games) -Watchers and Listeners are both dangerous to players -Watchers like tormenting players, thrive on chaos/drama -Runaway Watchers and Listeners (RW and RL) don't want to obey their higher-ups and want to protect players -They are Eldritch Deities- entities with immense power -They have spells or magic (similar to animus magic, temporary/permanent, can see them done, doesn't make you crazy) -Stronger than other gods -Listener Logo- spiral -Watcher Logo- look at the logo on the mask, eyes -Galactic- the language of Watchers and Listeners -Xelqua- God of Freedom, Runaway Watcher, leader of all Runaways, Grian --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -When in WoF, a Watcher/Listener takes the form of a dragon. Even if they are a Runaway. No specific species. -Watcher Full Form Appearance- double wings, white mask with Watcher logo, purple iris, slitted pupil, purple halo with eyes, light purple wing-webbing, purple to gray wings, purple eyes on the gray parts of wings, dark gray underbelly, purple scales, black horns, black spines, black large scales, black line above the belly, Watcher logo with eye in it on the cheek, black claws -Listener Full Form Appearance: similar to a full form Watcher, green instead of purple, the eyes and Watcher logos switched for Listener logos -Runaway Full Form Appearance- RW are pink/magenta, RL are light green, they don't have masks -Size- Fully formed Watchers and Listeners can range from Darkstalker's size to almost double his size. Normal dragons are 15-20 feet tall. Darkstalker is 60-70 feet tall. That would make the largest Watchers and Listeners up to 120-140 feet tall. -Weaknesses- Watchers are forced into full form at loud sounds. Listeners are forced to turn from bright lights. Their ears/eyes have been so modified that nothing affects them. Their ears/eyes were skimmed over. -Enhanced- Both have enhanced hearing. Watchers have better eyesight than Listeners. Watchers can see in pitch black. Listeners have better hearing than Watchers. Listeners can hear sounds from miles away. -Relationships- Watchers and Listeners do not get along. ..at all. They also have a rule that they can't be friends. Ever. If they do get caught helping the opposite deity, they will be punished severely. Watchers can't be friends with mortals. The higher-ups dislike it, but allow it only for information purposes. Runaway Watchers and Listeners are enemies of both sides. If a Runaway is found and refuses to come back, they will be executed. They would be killed in front of a crowd to scare them into not becoming a Runaway. It is a law. -Goals- While they both operate similarly, Watchers and Listeners have different goals. Watchers feed off of negative emotions. Hence why they created the Life Series (a death game for those unaware, the winner being the last one standing). Watchers also normally seek to destroy servers for a higher rank. Listeners feed off of negative emotions as well, but not as much as Watchers do. Listeners tend to be more friendly to players. They can be friends with mortals for the most part. It depends on the Listener. Some Listeners can be similar to Watchers though.
