MADE BY A.R AND T.A AND LASTLY D.T these are the names initials btw SCRIPT IS BELOW A.R: Hey there 7k2 I'm A.R. I'm here with my friends D.T and T.A. Welcome to our podcast. This is the show that goes into how we think, learn, and create a world that moves faster than ever. Today we are going to be talking about an issue in our community- brainrots. Yes, we are talking about brainrots. Those endless memes or words with no meaning which they end up leaving our brains a little… rotten. T.A: What even is brainrot? Brainrot is when you spend too much time doomscrolling shorts which is sometimes pointless content on SOCIAL MEDIA. These videos are animals or objects made using AI and saying some gibberish words e.g. Tung Tung Tung Sahur. The problem is that game designers are using this to make games e.g. Steal a Brainrot in Roblox which will probably ruin the audience's brains playing that game. This can make it harder to focus on normal things like homework, reading, or even having conversations. D.T: So, in today’s episode, we are going to talk about how brainrots affect your brain, why they are so addictive, and what you can do to stop them from taking over your time. So, sit back, relax, and let’s dive in. A.R: Now that we have introduced the topic, let's now consider why brainrot is bad for your mental health and physical mind. T.A: How many of you have seen these types of videos? If you have watched these videos, you might notice that your attention span has gradually become shorter. D.T: Wondering what an attention span is? It's how hard you can focus without being distracted for a period of time. This is actually really important as your attention span enables you to do well in school. D.T: Before we continue, have you ever picked up your phone just to watch one video, but then you keep scrolling without even noticing how much time has passed? A lot of people do this every day, especially with shorts that are made to grab your attention quickly. T.A: Brainrot can also influence your mental health, even if you do not notice it at first. When you spend too much time watching shorts, your brain does not get a proper break because there is always more noise, more sounds, and more things to look at. This can make you feel tired and stressed without knowing why. It can also make it harder to focus, which might make school feel more difficult and frustrating. A.R: Another problem is that staying on your phone for too long, especially at night, can affect your sleep, and when you do not sleep enough, your mood can get worse. You might feel more annoyed, more worried, or less motivated to do things you normally enjoy. This is why too much brainrot is not just bad for your focus but can also start to affect how you feel every day. D.T: To sum up this podcast, brainrot might seem like something funny that people joke about online, but when you really think about it, spending too much time watching shorts can actually start to affect your brain in a bad way. It can change how well you focus, how well you sleep, and even how you feel during the day without you noticing at first. T.A: When your brain gets used to the continuous entertainment from scrolling, it starts to expect everything to be quick and exciting all the time. Because of this, normal things like schoolwork, reading, revising, or even listening in class can start to feel more boring or harder than they should be, even though the real problem is that your brain is not getting enough breaks. A.R: This is why it is important to control how much time you spend on your phone, take breaks from social media, and make sure you do other things that help your brain relax. For example, going outside, talking to people, or doing hobbies. Brainrot is not bad if it is in small amounts, but if it becomes a habit every day, it can slowly affect your mental health, your learning, and your daily life. This is why it is something people should be more careful about. Smash that like and subscribe button to see our other podcasts and thank you for listening to this presentation.
