(Click or space for next!) Heyo! This is the second update on my new tank. It’s been a week since I first set it up! (I set it up the 23rd.) I have now added my new light and sponge filter! 1. The full tank, it’s cleared up a lot and the new lights look amazing! They have a lot more colors than my old light. 2-4. Some closeups I took XD 5. A few hours later, it’s now completely clear, I think the cycle has completed or is almost done. 6. Another random closeup lol 7. Silly bladder snail, I’m gonna need to get an assassin snail because I have too many bladder snails ToT 8-10. After I added my Fluval Bio Stratum (new plant substrate/sand-y stuff) and as it clears up 11. The next day, crystal clear and the plants are looking nice, some of the Java ferns are dying but the rest of the plants are looking good! 12. Now the tank after a week of being set up! The plants are looking really green. Btw, I’m keeping the hang on back filter on for a week or so just so that my sponge filter can establish some beneficial bacteria in it before I remove the old filter.
