HOLD your horses buddy I kinda have a tadc theorry mwahahahah I know I said I was taking a break but I had to post thisss (this theory is not very likely tbh just came up with smth) uhmmmmm spoilers for episode 8 sryyyy so yknow the SOMA theory right? that they're just copies of their minds.. :( which I feel is more likely bc on kinger's computer thingy there was a file that said brain-scan-neural-file thingies or smth. (I didn't see that I've just seen other ppl's videos lol) anyways, I was watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/BH6xnHHEg0M and noticed the one part where the person said there was a *butterfly* in one of the images they fed to baby Caine in the start screen thingymabob at the start of the episode (if u didn't know that was Caine go watch a video or smth there's lots lol) So yeah and in the video, they connect this to queenie's butterfly collection, right? so that pretty much implies that caine based the butterflies/maybe other bugs on that photo (maybe... none of this is canon just fyi) so... is it just a coincidence that he put something out based on the photos he was given? if that made no sense, let me explain more. so, you know how there was a picture of a circus tent (fumigation tent really but whatever) in one of the pictures they fed to caine? and then when he made the circus, that tent... is pretty much.. the circus, right? also we know there was a picture of a crocodile, and then he also made gummigoo!! (I did not make/find those connections someone smarter and more observant than me did lol from another video or smth idk) so, basically he's creating the circus based off of the pictures given to him. that's how ai works, right? soooo.... my thinking is... mAYbE the butterfly picture is what caused the butterfly/bugs to be in the circus AT ALL in the first place.. and Caine CREATED the characters (pomnii, Jax, etc) just like he did the npcs... based on what he was given. and they aren't real people at all, just creations that Caine designed. ofc with the thing I mentioned earlier, the mind files thingies or whatever kinda makes it less likely.... (bc they're like files of their human minds maybe??) (also then why would they abstract..? if they're npcs? aallsoo Caine says 'i dont want to mix u up w/ the npcs' (could be lying tho)) its still a theory idk? just wanted to write it down :) also another con would be the fact they probably fed him more pictures than that lol so this isn't really a very likely theory at all go look at the soma theory instead :P
