Like the title says, this was A Capella. I didn't really need to include that because the song is already A Capella, but it intrigues people more and gets me more views. I freaking love Hadestown so much. I almost did Any Way the Wind Blows, but I don't like any of Hermes' parts in the songs, and I didn't want to be him. I also would've had to cut the part at the end where it switches to Come Home with Me, and I didn't feel like working that out. I also almost did Flowers, but that one note (feather on the air) sometimes sounds like I'm dying 'cause it's low, and there wouldn't be any harmonies to hide it. I love that song though. That low note at the end is literally below what I usually count as my lowest note, and I hit it about 1 in every 5 takes. About half the time I try to sing it, I sound like a toad. (F3) Was I supposed to clean my room and not spend three hours learning the different parts and recording and stuff? Yes. Do I really care right now? Of course not. I love being unproductively productive. :D Woah, you read to the end! :)
This song is Nothing Changes from Hadestown. It is sung A Capella by the Fates. I did the off brand Hadestown background on canva Lyrics: Why the struggle, why the strain? Why make trouble? Why make scenes? Why go against the grain? Why swim upstream? it ain't, it ain't, it ain't no use You're bound, you're bound, you're bound to lose What's done, what's done, what's done is done That's the way the river runs So why get wet? Why break a sweat? Why waste your precious breath? Why beat your handsome brow? Nothing changes Nothing changes Nothing changes anyhow
