Welcome to this BEAUTIFUL project with BEAUTIFUL gifts for two of my BEAUTIFUL friends! We have a little Adélie penguin for @Penguins_Do_Code, and Blossom for @Birdsaresocute :D 1. Gift for @Penguins_Do_Code -This is pretty cute! I love how simple it is, but still how gorgeous it looks :) I do not have a process for this because I forgot to save it. At all. Whoopsies! I think I'm going to draw more birds again. I've taken a pretty long break from it to focus on my cats, dragons, and humans, but they're so fun to draw :D I am a little rusty, though. I struggled to capture any sort of texture at all on this little guy, so I ended up just using my hatching brush to get minimal texture ;w; 2. Gift for @birdsaresocute -Okay, I usually am one of those artists who says that you should not use blending modes until you've learned how to use colors... Which I barely have... But seriously, I could not preserve the adorable markings on Blossom when I used my usual rendering style T0T so blending modes, I choose you! This still looks pretty cute though :) 3-8. Process of Blossom -Somehow my first sketch looks better than the finished thing :1 I think I ruined it with the mouth, it does not look great... I ditched that paw because it made no sense lmao. I like the lineart, it looks very pretty :) OK, so you've gotten to the weird slide with the orange everywhere... that was me trying to make my light source clear to myself :) It really helps to think about it beforehand, otherwise you'll end up with weird, inconsistent lighting :1 If you struggle with that like I do, I highly recommend you think it out beforehand! There's not really much else to say, so I'm gonna say a few things to my friends below XD Pinguino: You are an awesome friend with incredible taste in music, manga, and video games :D I've always enjoyed talking to you about random things like penguins, video games, chores, and anything else we think of :) It's always so easy to chat with you about pretty much anything, and I really like that about you! So keep being awesome and stuff, here's a little penguin for you :) Bird: You are always so fun to talk to, and your art is absolutely gorgeous :D I've always admired your art, ever since I met you in what- 2022? Anyways, the amount you've improved is actually insane, and I thought I'd express my appreciation for you with a drawing of Blossom :D I had no idea how hard it would be to shade her lmao, so sorry she looks a little funky- Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think I did the best I could without burning out, but enjoy anyways!
