This is me trying out Google Gemini AI. Interesting Notes ============= Gemini AI is available on my Windows PC and also on my new Samsung S25 phone. (I sold my old car this week. The money I received was not quite enough to buy the new cellphone) In the Gemini AI, I selected "Create Image" then picked the style "Gothic Clay" from a menu of picture styles. Gothic Clay gives an old fashioned look with darkish colours and objects may look like they are made of clay or plasticine. I typed a lot of text giving detail about the pictures that I wanted created. Here is the text I entered to generate the first picture: "Scratch Cat, the mascot of the Scratch coding site, asleep with a nightcap on his head, in a bed on top of a 2 storey house. A sign over the door archway says "Scratch". There is an open semi-circular slide from the left top of the house around the back and reappearing at the right curving down to near the door. The slide has broad stripes across it, alternately cream colored and pastel colors. Currently it is darkish as it is nighttime." Note that Gemini remembers the details you have already given in a single "chat" during which you make many pictures. My story would have been longer but I reached the limit for free pictures generated in one day.
AI is amazing! I write some text and Gemini AI generates a picture. Not only did Gemini generate great pictures from my text, it also added some clever extra touches: - Gemini added the stairs going back up to the top of the house. - The towers, arched windows, pictures on the walls and candles are all added under the Gothic theme. - The "when green flag clicked" and "broadcast go home" blocks were inserted by the AI without prompts. - AI added the alarm clock showing 3:00am, the code book and the little cat figurines without prompts. - I made the TV picture early on, and wrote text asking for pictures within pictures. This theme recurs in some other pictures.
