Whether that be from the ground up, from the collection of shards and pieces into one sculpted masterpiece, or simply an advancement beyond what was already present, the Great Collapse will decide the ultimate successor, and true master, of the NASM. A note about the Great Collapse: The goal is to decide the ideal ideology for the NASM, and this is to be decided via a massive civil war and societal collapse, where logically, the most sound, powerful, and coherent ideology will win and succeed the NASM, taking up status as global hegemon once more. Everywhere the NASM has collapsed, from spy networks facing in-fighting to soldiers shifting sides in wars to assist unpredictable nations, it is complete and utter chaos. With this obviously comes global shockwaves, especially after the simultaneous collapse of Adytum, with the world economy likely to face a crisis like has never before been seen. Other nations are also bound to collapse, though they may hold themselves together if they truly can. The world's political systems will shift, and the world will be forever changed, and the world awaits to see how this will pan out. A global standstill, holding its breath for a moment, before advancing faster and further beyond. Now to get into the logistics of everything and the immediate aftermath, we will address the ORN. The ORN is to have leadership temporarily succeeded to The Jansainian Empire. The NASM itself has one area that has not collapsed, and that will serve to take control of all extremely important military gear, technology, etc. and maintain the NASM's interests, and will reunite with the victor of the war. Galactic holdings have been placed under the jurisdiction of NASM Galacticus temporarily and will continue the previous strategy of simply keeping holdings hidden and hijacking any ships that pass by to keep them hidden. This temporary successor state will exist in Hawaii, and will have small bases and secret shafts all over former territory to keep things in order. Also note - If any outside power attempts to intervene in the Great Collapse in any way besides aid to warlords, they will be ganged up on, and all warlords will unite to fight against the outsiders. This is a religious, ideological, and pure war. It is to be waged in pure harmony with one another, unity in disunity. They will not tolerate more outside influence than can be reasonably expected. Don't test your luck. Also a note - Unless you are REALLY insistent, I won't allow anyone to play as any of my factions. I already have a general outline of what I want the outcome to be, but outside factors and what people want MAY influence the outcome of the Great Collapse. It is very likely that I could make upwards of 8-10 update projects, though this is a highball, and I will mostly focus on the North American fronts and may leave the other fronts out since they are less relevant. Intrastahypercanton trade collapses, neighbors begin fighting each other, borders collapse, etc. Immediately we see large populations centers descend into complete anarchy, with endless amounts of factions, citystates, etc. popping up in them. Data is so loose there and unavailable that it may be impossible to keep track of them periodically. The most important thing to note, though, is that these factions have almost instantly fully established themselves as sovereign and can be interacted with. (I will serve as the master of all of these states, though most of them are irrelevant so just talk to them however you like. Note - ALL warlords claim to be the true successor to the NASM, and more than 1 warlord may come out on top. Hailrh. Also, about the current governance and how the collapse happens: With technological singularity, the church basically relinquishes all power, and Lev Harkov makes his final statement before disappearing. His last word: "Hailrh." With this, everyone basically just takes power wherever they can and does what they've been prepping for over a decade and then prepare for the bloodiest war in history. You can imagine that a nation fighting to the death with a population in the billions will be a little crazy, especially when the goal is the elimination of all other sides if possible. Overall, the collapse happens voluntarily and is largely controlled to a degree, but the result will be a result of no interference. It will be natural. Also one final note - The strongest faction at the moment seems to be the tsarists, with the communist blocks all over the battlefield tailing slowly behind. The hyperaccelerationists were predicted to have been one of the strongest, but they seem to be underperforming despite their rapid advancement and unity. Also one last thing: Brainchips can now be reprogrammed by the domain they are currently within. This will lead to very strange results, and it is unknown how this "naturally occurred". [Also, the United Emirates will remain under a puppet regime, but it will be loose. They will have more freedom now, but markets remain open.]
