2:00 AM IMPROMPTU DEVELOPMENT UPDATE FOR "LODESTONE THREE: HOMELESS PEOPLE" I'm planning on stepping away from doing big updates to Compass 3, and instead of releasing V0.18 next, I'm going to share Compass: Vagabond - Pre-Release, where I'll work publicly on one single project until the full game is done. This seemed to work well for Compass 2: Rising Tides*, and it frees me up to make smaller updates multiple times a week. I've been putting a lot of pressure on myself, always trying to make bigger updates than the last, and I can't keep that up, because the project is getting so big that, for example, even if I build an entire level now (a multiple-day commitment), that only contributes to maybe 2-5% of the total experience, compared to a year ago, when adding a new level made the game feel twice as big. I hope you understand, and I'm sorry that I haven't shared an update in like 40-50 days. To be honest, I've needed a break from the pressure, so I've hardly worked on V0.18. I'm hoping this alternate development method will free me up for easier updates, but don't expect me to do too much immediately. I still have a lot of work to do in college, then I'm graduating high school, then who knows what else. But I'm taking it day-by-day, and I'm not going to leave this cool game unfinished. I just need time. Love you guys, God bless.
